Committed to Quality

In 1947 our commitment to quality started when Clyde Hensley started the company in California. Today we are a global company that provides GET for utility machines up to the largest cable shovels. This growth has been achieved by never compromising on the quality of our products.

This is achieved by controlling the entire engineering and manufacturing process. All of our engineering team is GET or bucket specialists who are always looking at how to make our products safer, more reliable, and more efficient. After a product design is approved, our manufacturing group develops the molds and begins producing parts.  After the steel is poured and cooled the parts are removed from the mold and the part goes to aftercast for inspection. This entire process is overseen by our quality assurance department who perform metallurgical testing and insure the dimensional tolerances set by engineering are achieved.

By controlling the entire process from initial design to completion we can produce a product that is more than steel, it is the expertise and dedication of each employee here at Hensley Industries.

Quality Testing

Every heat of steel poured at our foundries is tested by our quality assurance team to verify the composition and material tolerances are to the level we require.

Engineering

When designing parts our engineering teams use a variety of digital simulations when working on new products. If the simulation does not meet our exacting standards our engineering team can make adjustments to the parts design, and retest. Speeding up the design process for new parts.

Manufacturing Excellence

We spend a lot of effort continually refining our mold processes to improve our overall part quality. Computer simulations are run in advance of any new part going to production to ensure we rig the mold properly and the steel fills the part cavities fully.

Environmental

We believe that environmental improvements help not just our business but society as a whole. This is why over 95% of our waste is recycled and our electric use is fully provided by renewable energy. Some of that energy is generated on site with solar panels installed on our LEED certified office building in Dallas, Texas. We are ISO 14001:2015 certified for our Environmental Management System.
