9.10.09 - Hensley Annouces SMS as a Full Line Dealer
Hensley is pleased to announce that effective immediately it has appointed SMS Equipment as a full line dealer for the Province of British Columbia except for the East Kootenay District. With this announcement SMS Equipment becomes a Hensley Dealer across Canada everywhere that SMS Equipment operated as the authorized dealer for the Komatsu product line.
SMS Equipment is one of the largest Komatsu dealers in the world and as a full line equipment dealer will be supplying Hensley GET and Hensley buckets as first fit on equipment. In addition SMS Equipment will see and service Hensley Kmax replacement tooth systems and Hensley DRP - direct replacement parts.
Hensley Industries is a supplier of quality GET - ground engaging tools and buckets used in the construction, mining, and utility markets. Hensley Industries looks forward to growing the business in Canada and is very pleased to have SMS Equipment as its dealer.

10.1.08 - Hensley “Raises Bar” at MINEXPO
Hensley clearly raised the bar at Minexpo 2008, with this new offering of Mining G.E.T. Featured in Hensley's 2500 square foot island booth was a 15.7 cubic yard excavator bucket, utilized on 200 ton class machines, a 15 cubic yard loader bucket fully dressed with specialized wear resistant products. Hensley also introduced it's new cast lip for hydraulic shovels. A 500-ton class hydraulic shovel lip showcasing the TS series hammerless G.E.T. components was displayed and received tremendous interest.
Product safety was an emphasis featuring an electric cable shovel system in which all components are 100% hammerless. In addition, lip protection shrouds in both weld on and hammerless configurations were displayed.
9.30.08 - Hensley and Bucyrus Intl Sign Distribution Agreement
Dallas, Texas, USA, September 30, 2008 -
Hensley Industries, Inc. and Bucyrus International, Inc. announced today that they have entered into a Supply and Distribution Agreement for Brazil. Under the terms of the agreement Bucyrus will install Hensley’s line of hammerless ground engaging tools on its electric rope shovels and walking draglines sold in Brazil, as well as support the sale of Hensley’s products to the Brazilian aftermarket. Other markets could be added in the near future. Both companies look forward to expanding their relationship as global partners for the sale and distribution of hammerless ground engaging systems that offer safe, productive, and cost efficient solutions for earth
moving equipment.
