Assist the Maintenance/Construction Department by performing one or all of the below listed duties. Must be able to satisfy any applicable physical ability testing that may be required for the position

.
JOB DUTIES:. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
- Complete various construction projects as directed.
- Determine parts needed to complete construction of equipment and/or facilities using schematics, machine drawings, and blueprints.
- Use various devices to accurately measure required parts for project completion.
- Perform all welding operations within compliance with code restrictions.
- Assist in the training of new employees.
- Perform all job duties without posing a direct threat to his/her or coworkers' safety or welfare.
- Abide by all safety rules as listed in the Safety Handbook, including the use of all required personal protective equipment.
- Must be familiar with Hensley’s Quality System.

Must demonstrate the ability to safely operate the following machines and/or equipment:
- Overhead cranes.
- Forklift.
- Manlift.
- Various hand tools.
- Arc welder.
- Various portable power tools.
- Cutting torch.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have at least five years related experience.
- Must be able to pass a forklift driving certification test.
- Must be able to pass a weld test.
- Must be able to read blueprints and schematics.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be able to communicate effectively in English. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to apply concepts of basic math to practical situations.
